A pursuit of peaceful progress

The world today is moving at breakneck speed. We're stuck in a rat race, chasing a new job, a better car, a bigger house, greener pastures, glorious careers, exponential growth. The list is endless.

This lopsided approach to success has blurred the meaning of real happiness. Slowly, we're losing sight of the things that make life meaningful. Our yogashala was founded with the goal of bringing happiness back into people's lives.

Our classes are designed to help you work on each of the pancha koshas: annamaya (body), pranamaya (breath), manomaya (mind), vijnanamaya (intelligence), and anandamaya (emotions), so you can find your balance and inspire those around you to rethink their idea of a life well-lived.

Our vision is to create role models who inspire holistically. We do this by aligning the five elements within and living by a set of values that guide every class, every breath, every interaction.

The five elements within

Like the universe, we're all made up of five elements. When the five forces are in harmony, we think, act, speak, feel, and live holistically.

Earth

Earth

When we feel lost and out of balance, earth keeps us grounded. It provides strength and stability; nourishes our mind and body.

Water

Water

Sometimes we feel stuck in an emotion or situation. Water circulates prana through the body to help us overcome obstacles and flow freely.

Fire

Fire

Transforms and empowers our mind and body. It burns fear and self-doubt to ashes and ignites a passion for life.

Air

Air

Both calming and uplifting. When the world gets overwhelming, air lightens our mind and breathes life into every cell of our body.

Space

Space

Make a wish, set an intention, let it float away into the universe. When you open up to space, it opens up infinite possibilities for you.

Learn 15 different kinds of pranayama and powerful meditation techniques. A 30–45 minute controlled breathing session designed to clear your mind's clutter and start your day with a clean slate.

Vikas Shenoy

Vikas' teaching journey began in 2011 in the waiting room of a hospital. Watching patients, caregivers, and staff struggle with pain, while his one-year-old giggled beside him, he asked himself a question that would change his life: how can I bring smiles back on people's faces?

"Yoga is my Swadharma, a work that I am meant for, just like Sachin Tendulkar is for cricket."

An NIT graduate with over 11 years at Microsoft and D E Shaw, Vikas eventually gave up his software career to pursue yoga full time. Today, with close to a decade of mentoring some of India's most successful practitioners, he's raising the next generation of holistic thinkers and do-ers
