Prana refers to 'breath' and Ayama means 'to control'. This 30 - 45 min controlled breathing session is designed to help you clear your mind’s clutter and start your day with a clean slate. As you slowly bring awareness to your breath, you become free of distractions and achieve inner alignment. In this tranquil state of mind, students are encouraged to set an intention and channel their energy towards their goals. With consistent pranayama and meditation practice, you will experience a number of benefits such as increased immunity, improved sleep quality, peaceful emotional healing and happiness. It can also help mitigate chronic conditions such as asthma, migraine, and gastric issues.

Explore holistic flows inspired by Hatha & Ashtanga Yoga
Achieve a firm grounding in yoga with the PRITHVI Intermediate Classes. This program is thoughtfully designed to introduce you to the world of yoga and familiarize you with various asanas, kriyas, pranayama and meditation techniques for physical and psychological well-being. The perfect balance of Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga help restore the balance of the Pancha Mahabhutas: earth, water, fire, air and space – that are the source of all life. Students will also be fluent in the Abhyasa sequence designed by Yogacharya Bharath Shetty. By the end of the PRITHVI classes, students would have built the strength and flexibility to attempt headstands, backbends, and other challenging postures.
Classes are open for intermediate level practitioners and fitness enthusiasts who’ve been actively involved in other activities such as dance, tennis and other sports. Advanced practitioners who want to strengthen their foundations are also welcome!
SAMUDRA : Advanced Level Classes

Elevate your asanas and improve your hip opening, arm balances, back bending, inversions and transitions through the consistent practice of various drills.
At Pancha Yoga, we believe that the journey is as important as the destination. That’s why we focus on peaceful progress and not stressful success. Once you’ve completed the PRITHVI or a combination of the AURA & PRITHVI classes, you’ll be ready to take it up a notch with the SAMUDRA Advanced Classes. This group meets for 110 minutes every weekday to practice headstands, arm balances, twists, forward bending postures, hip openers, backbends and inversions up to a certain depth. With your safety as our top priority, we guide you with verbal cues, live demonstrations, and posture corrections to ensure the seamless transition from one pose to the next. In addition, we’ll be breaking up the primary series of Ashtanga Yoga step-by-step, to help you understand the subtle nuances, perfect your postures and enhance your overall experience.
Students who’ve successfully accomplished the milestones of SAMUDRA and want to challenge themselves further will move on to next step : the AKASHA Advanced workshop.
